Rules & Regulations

Participation:
Participation is open to all publishers, Distributors, Booksellers, Newspapers, Periodicals, Literary & Cultural Organizations, Educational Institutions, Computer Organizations, Government Organizations, Associations, Banks, Insurance Companies, NGOs and Organizations dealing with Stamp, Map, Art, Chart and any other study materials. Protection:
Private Security Guard shall be deployed round the clock to safe guard the book fair compound. Police & fire brigade shall also be deployed during book fair time.

Entry:
No entry fees for visitors. The stall owners are required to enter 30 minutes before starting time i.e. 1:30 pm everyday.

Booking:
The application form along with full payment should be submitted in the book fair office either in person or by regd. Post. / courier service.

Payment:
Full Payment of Stall rent should be made in cash. No cheque shall be received at any circumstances. Publishers of outside states may pay through bank draft in favour of Rajdhani Book fair, Payable at Bhubaneswar

Allotment:
Allotment of stalls shall be made according to the decision of book fair committee. The decision of committee shall be final & binding on all participants. No encroachment of space in front of the stall or, display of banners outside the stall will be allowed.

Confirmation:
The booking shall be effective from the date of realization of payment. The confirmation letter shall be sent immediately after realization of stall rent.

Cancellation:
The booking may be cancelled by the participant on or before 11.11.2011. The book fair committee shall not refund the stall rent in case of absence in the fair or left during the fair period. The vacant stall shall be allotted to some other party on 2 nd day if not occupied on 1 st day.

Profit & Loss:
The book fair committee shall not be responsible for any profit/ loss in the business or, damage/ cancellation due to natural calamities / accidents etc.

Insurance:
The participants may insure their stall at their own cost if they feel necessary.

Rights Reserved:
The president, Rajdhani book fair committee shall have the right to take any disciplinary proceeding / action against any participant / visitor in case of violation of rules & regulations and breach of peace in the fair. The Book fair committee reserves the right to change/ alter its rules & regulations at any time without assigning any reason thereof.

Disputes:
For all legal disputes subject to Bhubaneswar jurisdiction only.
